Weather forecast: Chance of heavy rain, storms and hail on Friday

Cloudy weather with a chance of heavy rain, scattered thunderstorms and hail is forecast in many parts of Greece on Friday, including Attica, starting in the morning and spreading to Crete and the Dodecanese islands in the afternoon.

The phenomena are expected to subside by nightfall. Winds variable, up to 5 Beaufort. Temperatures will range between 10C and 22C in the north, from 12C to 21C in western Greece, from 12C to 22C on the eastern mainland and between 14C and 22C on the islands. Cloudy in Attica, with isolated rainfall and sporadic thunderstorms, at times severe, and temperatures from 13C to 21C. Partly cloudy in Thessaloniki, with rain and storms in the afternoon, temperatures between 12C and 22C.
